Job Purpose
Planning, designing, executing and reporting software test results, in addition, have leadership skills is a must to lead a team of testers. The ability to Execute manual and automated tests, reporting defects, and help with understanding and handle them, analyze results, and track software testing metrics.
Job Duties
3 years up to 5 years of experience testing software business applications.
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
Experience in SRS (Software requirements specification), Preparing test cases according to testing requests & design documents.
Perform unit tests using checklists & test cases/scenarios to ensure matching system design requirements.
Run Manual and Automated Testing. Experienced in working with different environments including web and mobile.
API Testing experience.
Perform different types of testing including integration & regression testing.
Build test cases and scenarios including stress testing, performance testing, functional testing & scalability testing.
Preparation of defect/bug reports in case of design/development not meeting pre-defined requirements.
Grasp of SDLC (software development life cycle) with strong experience in working in Agile environments.
Knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL/MS SQL/PostgreSQL), database designing, and query optimization techniques.
Experience with testing tools (e.g. selenium, QTP, Smart Meter / JMeter, Junit).
Expertise in one or more of Java, JavaScript, PHP, Groovy, C/C++, Python, Ruby, VB.NET
Experience in tools and skills in the data analytics domain will be preferred.
Working Location: El-Mokattam – Cairo
Working Hours from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Days Off: 2 Days (Friday & Saturday)
